General Data IT Professionals Ltd. Now a Digital Boost 3.0 Approved Technology Solution Provider

Our company has been officially recognized as an Approved Technology Solution Provider for Digital Boost 3.0, a New Brunswick program funded by the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA). This prestigious approval allows us to work with businesses on critical projects in AI, data management, and cybersecurity. We are excited to welcome clients – new and old – who are seeking aid with Cybersecurity. General Data is one of only a few companies in the Country to have succesfully completed CAN/CIOSC 104:2021 - Cybersecurity Certification for Small and Medium Enterprise and the SCC Mastering Internal Audits Exam based on ISO 19011. We focus on offering next-level Cybersecurity Assessment and Improvement for Small and Medium Enterprise.

What is Digital Boost 3.0?

Digital Boost 3.0 is a program that aims to drive the adoption of AI, data management, and cybersecurity among businesses. The program consists of two phases: assessment and implementation.

Phase I - Assessment

During this phase, businesses will receive up to 75% funding, up to $37,500, to cover the costs of these assessments, strategies, and roadmaps.

Businesses will work with approved Atlantic Canada-based technology solution providers in three key areas:

  • Data Assessment, Strategy and Roadmaps
  • Cybersecurity Risk Assessment, Strategy and Roadmaps
  • AI Readiness Assessments and Potential Use Case Identification

Phase II - Implementation

This phase focuses on executing the strategies and roadmaps developed during the assessment phase. Businesses can receive up to 75% funding, to a maximum of $20,390, to implement eligible projects identified in Phase 1.

Funding Recipient Eligibility Requirements

If you are looking for funding support from Digital Boost 3.0 to undertake an assessment and project in AI, data management, or cybersecurity, your company must:
  • Be based in New Brunswick
  • Be for-profit with fewer than 800 employees
  • Have a digital strategy in place
  • Be committed to enhancing tech capabilities
  • Have an internal team and owner supporting the initiative
